Bio

Dr. Jay Mukherjee joined OhioHealth Heart & Vascular Physicians in 2015. He sees patients at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital and OhioHealth Westerville Medical Campus. He moved from Boston, where he was trained at Harvard University and Tufts University. He received advanced cardiovascular imaging training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He also studied with Martin S. Maron, MD, at the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center at Tufts University School of Medicine. 


Dr. Mukherjee started the cardiac MRI program at OhioHealth, where MRIs are performed and read by cardiologists. His clinical interests include general cardiology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, cardio oncology, diabetes and heart disease, and preventive cardiology. He has authored many articles and has an active interest in research and educating young physicians in training. He enjoys educating his patients on the causes of their heart conditions and helping to empower them to actively manage their cardiovascular health. Dr. Mukherjee is an invited speaker at local, national and international scientific meetings. He enjoys swimming, playing tennis and traveling. He resides with his family in Dublin, OH.
